President, Distribution and Marketing Entertainment Studios

Janice Arouh, a media executive with nearly 25 years of experience, joined Entertainment Studios Networks in May 2010 and serves as President, Distribution and Marketing. Mrs. Arouh oversees the distribution strategy, marketing, and operations for all of Entertainment Studios’ seven 24-hour HD television networks: CARS.TV, COMEDY.TV, ES.TV, JUSTICECENTRAL.TV, MYDESTINATION.TV, PETS.TV, and RECIPE.TV. Under her leadership, the networks cumulatively reach nearly 80 million households. Additionally, Mrs. Arouh is spearheading SPORTS.TV, the company’s entrance into the direct-to-consumer pay television digital space. SPORTS.TV will be an over-the-top monthly subscription service dedicated to sports networks and premium entertainment.

Mrs. Arouh has an extensive track record of growing distribution and negotiating affiliation agreements, for both the Hallmark Channel and Fox Cable Networks. While Executive Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Marketing at Hallmark Channels, she secured its distribution to nearly 90 million subscribers, renewed carriage agreements with all the distributors, and led the successful distribution launch strategy for Hallmark Channel HD and Hallmark Movie Channel HD. Prior to joining Hallmark Channels in 2004, she held several distribution and affiliate marketing positions throughout Fox Cable Networks including Senior Vice President, Sales and Affiliate Marketing. She was an integral part of the original FX Networks distribution launch team for News Corp’s entry into basic cable. Mrs. Arouh holds may distinctive industry awards and tributes. She has been the recipient of the WICT Southern California Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the “Class of Wonder Women” by Multichannel News and CableFax’s Sales Hall of Fame. Also, CableFax, recognizes her annually as one of the most powerful women and executives in cable. She was awarded the Lupus LA Woman of Achievement and is an active board advisor to bring awareness to lupus. Mrs. Arouh graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University.
